Dubrovnik is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Metiterranean. In 1979 Dubrovnik joined the prestigious UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.One of the best medieval walled cities in the world, according to CNNgo, was formed in the 7th century. Dubrovnik became a maritime republic which could compete even with Venice. The third oldest pharmacy in the world was opened in 1317 in the city and it's still operating to this day.

Although the earthquake od 1667 destroyed a large number of monuments, Dubrovnik still offers a magical experience for tourists.

Fly to the 16 th century and enjoy the finest examples of Renaissance – Sponza Palace and St. Saviours church. A must-see is a much visited Franiciscan Monastery which possesses more than 30000 volumes and incunabula.

Visit the Rector’s Palace- Gothic- Renaissance palace with Baroque additions- the administrative center of the Dubrovnik Republic, which holds in its museum a valuable collection of old coins.





And of course, take a walk on Stradun, main street of Dubrovnik, which connects Pile gate and Ploče gate, both with beautiful fountains on each side (Large Onofrio’s Fountain and small Onofrio’s Fountain).
